Guimard's first major commission, an apartment block on a narrow corner plot in Auteuil completed between 1895 and 1898.
Its asymmetrical massing, iron balconies and peacock-glass entrance porch won the City of Paris best-façade competition of 1899, which made both Guimard and the style famous.
The entrance hall retains original ironwork, ceramics and stained glass.
